The Riso can print on any uncoated paper between
20lb bond - 80lb cover that is a maximum size of 11”x17”.

Paper as small as 4x6 can be printed, but it’s just not worth it. Throw a few more on a letter sized paper and cut it down later! But seriously, no paper smaller than 8.5'“x11”.

Fluoro tries to keep a steady supply of paper stocks in the studio at all times, but can’t guarantee that your favourite will be on hand.
Paper can be ordered by request for specific projects but will extend turn around times.

BRING YOUR OWN PAPER

BYOP- You can definitely bring in your own paper, but you’ve got to follow the rules!

The Paper Rules

  • Uncoated only! Riso ink cannot absorb into glossy/coated papers. Trust it’s just going to turn into a smudgy inky mess!

  • Min size: 8.5x11”
    Max size: 11x17”

  • Nothing chunky! Sorry, no seed paper allowed.

  • Paper only! Sorry, no fabrics or wood.

  • Printing on envelopes, paper bags and sticker paper is accepted on a case-by-case basis.

  • Bring 10-30% more paper than you need to account for crazy alignments and paper jams.

Remember, Riso ink is semi-transparent so printing on coloured paper will alter the final print colours!
